Fall Is Near!
I know I know! We are still in the midst of summer, but Drew and I have transitioned the store over to Fall Decor. Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. The crisp air, the warm colors of Fall the reds, oranges and yellows. Apple picking, pumpkin patches, bonfires and Hayrides.
There is something so calming for me having the store in complete disarray and then watching it all come together. We have some great items for Fall. We have tons of fabric pumpkins, outdoor Welcome signs, outdoor wooden pumpkins, pillows, blankets, garlands, candles, new lamps, some great new pieces of furniture. The store has such a welcoming feel right now and the smells of Fall will add a welcome feel to your home as well.
Fall is the perfect time to start preparing your home for all those winter months we will be stuck inside so why not make your spaces feel special. Add new curtains or get that room painted that you have been putting off and then head in for all the finishing touches.
Now I know we have done a lot of talking about our big move to the bigger location in Yantic River Plaza. We are still moving hopefully sometime in September and we are super excited about what we are going to be able to offer you in the new spot. Unfinished furniture is one of my favorite things which will allow you to pick the way you want your piece finished. Whether it be chalk paint, stain we will be able to offer you so many new choices.
As a family we have some exciting things happening, our daughter is getting married on September 4 and has always wanted to get married at Our Home. This is a complete honor as a parent to have your child want to marry at her Home. We have been working diligently on getting the yard Wedding ready and boy I didn't expect all the work but it will be a beautiful day I'm sure of it. In the end everything will come together ready or not?
