Autumn Blooms and Colors: Fall Country, Rustic, and Farmhouse Decor
I have spent the last few weeks deliberating about my Master Bedroom and what I was going to do for Fall as far as colors go. I have been torn because I love all of the fall colors. My new fall decor obsession includes the rust colors on some of our pillows and blankets that go so well with the terra cotta pumpkins that are out.
Farmhouse Master Bedroom Interior
After much consideration, I decided to go with the rust color and white. My room is painted a beautiful light gray color, so it will complement it perfectly. I bought the pillows and the accent blanket for on top of the bed first, and the rest all fell into place. This copper/rust color just warms up the space so nicely for Fall. I also accented it with some terra cotta pumpkins and some rust-colored pumpkins.
Since I decided on this color scheme for the Master bedroom and bath, I had to figure out how to incorporate some of the yellows because I love them so much. I started with these buffalo check curtains that I found in yellow and paired them with this mustard color throw and pillow. Wala! My sitting room is complete.
Fall Dining Room Rustic Decor
In the dining room, I decided to stick with more traditional fall colors. I love the black coverlet on the dining table paired with some orange, green and yellow accents for traditional Fall.
Fall Farmhouse Kitchen Decor
In the kitchen, I decided to go with a warm grey color valance on my big window and stick with some traditional yellows and oranges for accents. I found this neutral gray rug for the floor, which will roll over nicely into the holiday season when I am ready to switch over.
Fall Farmhouse Living Room
In the family room, I wanted to stay pretty neutral, as I am primarily a neutral girl at heart. On the mantle, I placed this lovely auburn garland and accented it with white pumpkins. Remember, when display pumpkins lay on their side, it can create a gorgeous display. In front of the television, I just added white and terra cotta pumpkins to my already existing garland.
I left my neutral pillows on the sofa and added just a rust color throw and a pumpkin pillow on the loveseat. Lastly, I added some pumpkins and washed orange potpourri on the coffee table display. It smells so warm and cozy. I can't wait for a crisp fall day to light the fireplace and snuggle up in this room.
